The Minecraft Education Extracurricular Programme turns one of the world’s most popular games into a powerful learning tool. Designed for learners in Grades 2–7, this programme brings creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and technology together in a fun, structured environment.
Used in over 100 countries, Minecraft Education transforms ordinary screen time into meaningful learning time—building the skills young learners need for the future.

Venue: Alexander Road High School, Gqeberha
Grades: 2–7 (grouped Grade 2–3, 4–5, and 6–7)
Session Length: 90 minutes (60 min structured lesson + 30 min play time)
Structure: 40 lessons per year, aligned with the South African CAPS curriculum
Schedule Options
Weekdays: 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM
Saturdays: 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, or 2:00 PM
Each group attends one session per week.
Programme Fee: R600 per month
Grades 2–3: Digital citizenship, storytelling, early numeracy, and creative design.
Grades 4–5: Collaboration, cultural heritage, coding basics, and sustainability.
Grades 6–7: Project management, persuasive communication, and scientific modelling.
Each level progresses in complexity, helping learners build essential digital and academic skills step-by-step.
